Paint and Peace Programme Creative Communities 2025
The Paint and Peace Programme 2025 is being brought to the Girl Guides, and brownies in Tralee Co.Kerry in August 2025. The programme designed and taught by Artist Tricia O Connor will focus on the development of relationships and integration of Ukrainian children with Irish children in the local community.
The Paint and Peace programme includes Visual Art, Printmaking, Meditation and 3d printing workshops. 3d Printing workshops and 3d bird sculptures will be created by Dash Mass. Irish/ South African Designer Damian Dash Mass is a seasoned 3d printer operator and designer with a passion for blending technology and creativity. He has mentored aspiring designers, sponsored a 3d
printer and consistently innovates new ways to integrate art with digital fabrication. His goal is to empower young inds through engaging hands-on 3d printing workshops that inspire creative exploration and evolution.

DATES OF August Camps ( Tralee Location to be announced)
Camp 1: Monday to Wednesday 18th-20th 10-1pm
Camp 2: Tuesday 26th -Thursday 28th 10-1pm
Through two 3 day immersive art and meditation camp, children from Irish and Ukrainian communities will transform their stories into printmaking, visual art, and 3D designs.
These artworks will be woven into Peace Trees + 3D-printed bird sculptures that act as living prayers for harmony. The Peace Trees will be exhibited as a touring exhibition across Kerry libraries, creating a powerful visual dialogue on cultural integration, shared traditions, and the act of leaving offerings for a brighter future.
